In order to further promote the internationalization of our college, Dai Haidong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president led a team to Korea and Japan for a five-day educational exchange. This visit provides an important platform for promoting educational cooperation between our college and universities in Japan and South Korea, and is also an important measure for our college to actively implement the opening-up of education.

On the afternoon of August 28, the delegation visited Ajou University of South Korea and had a discussion with Professor ShinGoo Kang, Vice President of International Affairs of the University. At the meeting, Dai Haidong introduced the development of our college, and the two sides exchanged in-depth views on the educational upgrading project of teachers and students and signed a school-school friendly cooperation agreement. It is reported that Asia University is the eighth highest quality institution in Korea in terms of comprehensive strength, and this visit will provide a good channel for our teachers and students to improve their academic qualifications.

On the 29th, the delegation visited Pai Chai University in South Korea. Professor Jin Xu, President of the university, warmly received the delegation. PaiChai University visited our school in June this year, and the two schools have a high degree of compatibility in talent training and professional Settings, and the possibility of joint training is large. At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth communication on student exchange and teacher exchange visits, and reached consensus and signed agreements. Pai Chai University promises to provide free exchange student places for the next three years.

On the 30th, the delegation visited Professor Cho Nam-chul, Executive director of the Asian Development Foundation in South Korea, and discussed the next cooperation plan. At the meeting, Dai Haidong awarded Cho Nam-chul the honorary Professor certificate of our college and appreciate him for his contribution to the successful holding of the two Japan-Eurasia Foundation lectures. Cho Nam-chul said that the Asian Development Foundation will continue to be committed to the educational cooperation between China and South Korea, and will provide help and support for the overseas study of our students and academic exchanges of teachers.

On the morning of the 31st, the delegation visited Ikueikan University in Kyoto, Japan. Eitaka Matsuo, Chairman and President of Ikueikan Group, held a discussion with the delegation on teaching cooperation and signed an agreement. In the afternoon, the delegation visited Academy of Kansai Language School under the Group, investigated the operation of the school, and exchanged views on language requirements and language course embedding in the joint training.

On the morning of September 1, the delegation visited the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics and visited the Kyoto Computer Museum. Vice President of the school Yoichi Terashita warmly received the delegation. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on responsibilities, mutual recognition of credits and connection of course structure in the joint training.

This is the first delegation sent by our college after the epidemic. The visit successfully completed the original plan and objectives, and established a good inter-school cooperation contact. In the next step, the International Exchange and Cooperation Center will continue to promote the project according to the relevant agreements and negotiation details, strive for the practical implementation of the project, and open up a new situation for the internationalization of our college.
