On the morning of January 8, the delegation from Kangwon National University came to our college to discuss The Specialized Higher Education Joint Programme. Our college’s leader,Ji Lingbin held a conference with the guests in the room 1801 of Kaizu Building. The leaders of AI College, Academic Affairs Office,Planning and Finance Office, International Exchange and Cooperation of our college attended the meeting.

      On behalf of our college, Ji Lingbin first extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced in detail the school-running characteristics and school-enterprise cooperation of the AI major of our college, and expressed the beautiful vision of cooperating with Kangwon National University.

    Yoon Jong-chul, Director of Planning and Support Department of Kangwon National University, introduced the basic situation of AI major at Kangwon National University in detail. It is reported that the major is divided into two directions of disaster prevention and medical research, which is very consistent with the professional development direction of AI major of our college. Yoon Jong-chul said that the international development of Kangwon National University was really carried out in the past two years, and he is very much looking forward to cooperating with our college to carry out in-depth and friendly cooperation in teacher visits, student exchanges, school-enterprise scientific research and other aspects.

      After visiting the training room of the campus, the two sides held The Specialized Higher Education Joint Programme negotiation meeting in the smart classroom 112 of Jiefu Building.

The two sides communicated and discussed the personnel training plan of The Specialized Higher Education Joint Programme, the curriculum set involved in the cooperation agreement, the assignment of Korean teachers, the materials required for project application and other details one by one, and finally reached an in-depth cooperation consensus.

In order to further deepen the friendship and trust between the two universities, Yun Jong-chul welcomed the faculty of AI College to lead the team and select outstanding students to study and exchange at Kangwon National University in March 2024. This suggestion was warmly received by our college.

Yun Jong-chul expressed deep feeling in the conclusion that the visit of our college of beautiful and clean campus environment, professional advanced teaching equipment, pragmatic teaching attitude and industry-education integration of school-enterprise cooperation left a deep impression on him, so that he is full of confidence in the future cooperation between the two universities.
