On the morning of July 12th, ZJCST held the graduation ceremony of the 2024 China Pakistan Silk Road College International Student "Chinese+Vocational Skills" Training Camp. Zheng Wei, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of ZJCST, representatives of Yalong Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd., representatives of teachers and students of the college, as well as teachers and international students from Pakistan's Usman Institute of Technology, attended the ceremony.

This "Chinese+Vocational Skills" Training program lasted for three months. Teachers and students from Usman Institute of Technology in Pakistan participated in basic Mandarin courses and various cultural and skill courses on campus, and conducted practical training at the Yalong Group Practice Base off campus. The overall training content was rich and diverse, including lectures, cultural experiences, quality development, corporate practice, visits and tours interspersed throughout the entire training period.

Zheng Wei warmly congratulated Dr. Ali, a foreign teacher who has successfully completed teaching tasks, and the Pakistani students who have completed training courses. He hoped that they could apply their knowledge to practice in the future, persist in lifelong learning, and strive to become bridges of friendship between China and Pakistan.

On site, we reviewed the details of international teachers and students attending classes and living in our college through videos which capture every shot and frame of the training activities over the past three months. The teachers and students revisited the wonderful moments of airport pick-up, observing and studying, training, and daily life, witnessing together this unforgettable journey

The international teachers and students shared their thoughts one by one. They deeply appreciated the carefully arranged Chinese+skills training by ZJCST. In cultural classes, they have the opportunity to deeply experience diverse traditional Chinese cultures and visit local landscapes in Wenzhou, gaining a deeper understanding of the city and experiencing the charm of China. In terms of skill training, they learn together with teachers and students from the School of New Energy Equipment; Concentrated practical training in enterprises has greatly improved professional skills. They also expressed special gratitude to the relevant colleges, departments, and teacher tutors for their care and assistance, and during the process, they formed a deep friendship with the teachers and students of the ZJCST.

Ye Yu, Manager of Pakistan Market of Yalong Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd., sent a message to foreign teachers and international students, hoping that they would share their learned skills with Pakistani teachers and students after returning to Pakistan. At the same time, he hoped that they would strengthen their skills and Chinese language learning in the future, and help promote the vocational skills improvement of Pakistani teachers and students.

This training program for teachers and students coming to China is the embodiment of our national strategy of actively serving the country and the practical action of helping the country to build the "the Belt and Road". Through the training of "Chinese+vocational skills", China and Pakistan have further strengthened their exchanges and cooperation in the fields of culture and education, enhanced the friendship between the two peoples, and built a bridge for cultural and skills exchanges. In the future, ZJCST will continue to strengthen international education cooperation and exchange, and enhance the breadth and depth of international cooperation in college education.
